MAY IS ALS AWARENESS MONTH! 

• Donate to your Personal Page and ask your friends to match it.
• Share your Walk Day photos and WHY you participate in Walk to Defeat ALS on social media. *Remember to include your personal page link!
• Get creative! Bake sales, craft sales, and more! The holidays are a wonderful time to highlight your hobbies and raise funds to defeat ALS.
• Hold your own ice bucket challenge/fundraiser! With the temperature rising and 2024 being the 10 year anniversary of the ice bucket challenge, May is a great month to host your own ice bucket fundraiser or see if your employer would be willing to host one!

Top Team Bonus: Teams raising $5,000 or more in 2024 will secure their team tent for Walk to Defeat ALS 2025!

Prepare for the 2025 Sarasota Walk to Defeat ALS by reaching these exciting goals! 

• Teams raising $2,500+ by June 30th will receive a route sign at Walk to Defeat ALS Sarasota 2025 

• Team raising $5,000+ by June 30th will receive a reserved team area at Walk to Defeat ALS Sarasota 2025
   
• Teams raising $7,500+ by June 30th will receive a reserved team area and a team banner at the Walk to Defeat ALS Sarasota 2025
   
• Teams raising $10,000+ by June 30th will receive a reserved team area, coffee and donuts for their team, and route sign at Walk to Defeat ALS Sarasota 2025

T-Shirts

Only participants who've raised $100 will get a t-shirt. This benefit is awarded to individuals, not teams or donors, so make sure the donations to your personal fundraising record add up!

In addition to working toward one for yourself, you should spread the word to encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to earn their very own shirt.
