Annual Report and Chapter Finances

Where the $ Goes
We work hard to make sure every dollar you donate has maximum impact on the fight against ALS. From patient programs to cutting-edge research, your fundraising efforts for the Ride to Defeat ALS will never go to waste. We pride ourselves in functioning with a high standard of efficiency. According to Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, the most efficient charities spend less than 10% of their budget on fundraising, less than 15% on administration, and at least 75% of their budget on the services they exist to provide.

Patient Services
Your donations help to empower more than 600 ALS patients living in the sunshine state to live fuller lives. We provide critical assistance for patients and their families at every stage of the disease through patient care management, assistive technology, medical equipment loan programs, respite care, support groups, and multidisciplinary ALS clinics.

Research
Every year, The ALS Association invests millions of dollars in research conducted by the best and brightest scientists in the world. By funding global, cutting-edge research into the cause and cure of ALS, we grant hope to patients suffering with one of the worst diseases of modern times.
